JIVA Client for Linux out of beta!

Hi, this is Garrett Kelly. I’m a senior engineer over at Brain Murmurs and I’m in charge of the Linux distributions of JIVA.

After rigorous testing of the Linux JIVA Client today, I am proud to say that we have a new product to add to our suite of supported platforms. The Linux JIVA Client is running smoothly under Fedora Core 4 and is now officially out of the beta stage.

You can download it directly from our gforge site: Linux JIVA Client.

As of today, I am going to say that the only supported platform will be FC4, but we are going to continue testing under other Linux distributions and will keep you updated with the status.

In related news, the JIVA Linux daemon (currently still under development) should be ready by the first of June.
