Thank you, Alex and Bounty Contributors
I just wanted to take a moment in this frenzied rush and say “thank you” to everyone that contributed to the bounty and to Alex King in particular.
I actually started this project about 18 months ago, but was too busy running BMI to keep the effort up. If it hadn’t been for the bounty and its deadline, this project would probably still be on the back burner.
I would like to say that PAID BOUNTIES WORK. Even for commercial projects. The psychological impact of knowing that people want this, the knowledge that other people are working on this out there somewhere, the fact that winning the bounty provides some notoriety, and the fact that people have put up their hard-earned cash as an incentive really helps people get moving and start writing code. I’d like to point out that it’s the commitment of the contributors, not the actual dollar value on the bounty, that was a motivating factor here. The money is like a nice tip for hard work (I still have not collected it yet, btw, I’ve been too busy).
Alex and the people that contributed to the bounty made this happen, and I appreciate it very much.
Now I have to get back to finishing it for you.
Thank you all.

dude, you said it yourself, people put their hard earned money to support you and you are going to charge them still!? at least give those who put in the bounty a free copy. dont be lame.
This is a bit confusing to me. Naturally, everyone that contributed to the bounty gets a free copy! Also, you might want to look at what Alex King (the bounty founder) had to say about the bounty terms.
Developing this as a commercial app was explicitly allowed and everyone that contributed to the bounty was aware of this.
Hey I can’t wait to get this - how long will he $25 price last? I missed out on the same deal from Parallels.
I notice you have not responded to any of the previous comments asking about compatibility with the 7130e. Any information you would be willing to share about compatibility for this model would be very appreciated.
Thanks.
Oh, BTW, I too am puzzled by the insistence that you have done something wrong by adhering to the bounty terms. I mean, how dare you want to be compensated for your work!
I cant find a way to contact anyone at Brain Murmers via email…. I paid the $25 and never received any kind of acknowledgment. Wanted to make sure they got my money and wondered when I would see a product?
I too never received an acknowledgment but I assume the payment went thru since the $25 left my account. I believe the product is scheduled for a 11/15 release and we will get an email then….
If anyone does not receive a registration confirmation please let us know by sending an email to support AT brainmurmurs DOT com (change words to symbols). We’ll mail you out another copy of the confirmation email immediately.
