Pulse connection speed
We’ve been running some diagnostic tests over here at the Brain Murmurs headquarters and calculating the approximate bandwidth users should expect for the current release of Pulse. Using an 8700 you should probably see a regular download speed of 65k.
Just as an FYI - the Interet read/write numbers on your Pulse output window do not accurately reflect the actual connection speeds you are experiencing and rather indicate an overall calculation of the bandwidth over time. The best way to measure your actual performance is to go to http://www.bandwidth.com/tools/speedTest and run the download test yourself. (We usually use the “modem” test and “download” as well as the “upload/download” test)
If you are experiencing any anomalous performance issues please do not hesitate to contact us at support AT brainmurmurs.com.

I tested Pulse on the new 8700g from T-Mobile this morning. I was getting very good speeds… 124.3 kilobits per second as reported by http://www.bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/ , i used the EDGE Wireless Modem setting. I am very impressed with this product. Cant wait to get my username and password so I can use it anytime.
