Pulse Performance/Proxy status update

Things are going great!

Proxy server update:
Garrett Kelly and I are working on the OS X version of the proxy server: primarily routing issues and a nice, shrink-wrapped installer. The gateway service looks like it’s running smoothly.

Pulse application update:
At this point a correctly configured T-Mobile 8700g combined with a Mac will give you Blackberry tethered internet access performance seen only on the Pearl (almost twice as fast as tethering the 8700g via Windows USB).

I’m going to take on a little side project and see if I can get the same performance with the 8700g and Windows.

    I’ll echo what Rumblesnort says, speed isn’t great yet with a 7130e, a Macbook and Sprint service, but it is running pretty consistently at 60+. Thanks to you guys, keep working on the project.
