Pulse Gateway Source Code Available for Download

Sorry for the lack of postings! Most of the staff is taking the holidays off, so it’s just Garrett Kelly and I right now.

The Pulse Gateway source code is available for download. Documentation is sparse. This will be updated as we move forward.

  1. Just downloaded the source and compiled on FreeBSD. What is the java command to run the configurator JAR? How do I tell my pulse app on my blackberry to use this gateway? Looking for an RTFM but I don’t see much in the README.

  2. Nevermind - I found the linux instructions online and I’ll try to hack through it. It still isn’t clear how I tell my blackberry to use the pulse gateway I setup, however.

  3. That information is in the Linux readme as well.

    Connecting to your server:
On your laptop, open the Internet Connect panel and enter the following
    information:

    1. Name (user name of one of the accounts set up during the setup process)
    2. Password (also specified during the proxy setup process)
    3. Telephone number. This is of the form

    username@your-networks-external-ip-address

  4. 1. Will the source code for pulse client be made available for those paid?
    2. Where’s the forum the support page talks about?
    3. any README on pulsed.conf?
