Pulse on Linux
A considerable amount of interest has been expressed in using Pulse from a linux laptop to share a BlackBerry’s internet connection.
To further the compatiblity of Pulse, we have launched into a small project of getting Pulse to work as a bluetooth dialup networking option for the Linux platform. In this project, we are using a USB Bluetooth device to communicate with the blackberry (8700 series) in order to establish a ppp connection with the Pulse gateway server. We hope to open the doors to nix users who wish to browse the web and take care of email or use any online service while commuting.
