Mentat BlackBerry Beta
It’s aliiiiivvve!!! The Mentat BlackBerry client is nearly ready for beta time, and more new features are on the way soon after that.
The BlackBerry client already stands above the iPhone interface as a native client, able to cache information so you don’t have to re-download your project lists each time you go back to them. On top of that, we’ve added full comment capabilities, so you can view & add task comments on the go with live updating. You can also create new tasks, close existing tasks, and of course view your existing projects and tasks. By the time you read this we will have added in the ability to reassign tasks with a handy wheelclick dropdown menu, and comment prompting just like from your PC’s Mentat browser. Due dates and task status will be fully functional as well, making the Mentat BlackBerry client a true executive digital assistant!
We are currently designing a BlackBerry UI to include the Agenda list, that handy todo page where you can sort out your day from your multitudes of projects into a nice manageable slice. Creating an eye in the task hurricane from anywhere you happen to be is the end goal, and we’re sticking to it. We’ll keep you updated on that and other news as mobile Mentat progresses.
