Mentat Update
Hey everybody, hope that your holidays were good ones. Time to get back to work…
BlackBerry Update

The BlackBerry client is coming along nicely. Unfortunately our list of “must have” features has been growing as we’ve moved forward, so the release date has crept forward as well. We are most likely looking at an initial release sometime in early December.
Mentat Service Update
We have made a few nice improvements to the Mentat service that will become available in the next few weeks.
- Some highlights include:
- Handle-free drag and drop
You can now click and drag anywhere on an a task interface to drag it around, so we’ve gotten rid of the handle. - Repeating tasks
We’ve been waiting for this one for a long time: You can define task repeat frequency in the task’s primary view. Mark off the task and it will rise again to haunt you on the appointed day. - Task ‘resolved’ status
We have added a ‘resolved’ status for tasks, intended primarily for groups. You can change a task to ‘resolved’ when you believe that it is done but need sign off from another party. - Project preferences
This allows you to specify what kind of task statuses you see (simple open/closed versus open/resolved/blocked/closed) as well as default dismissal handling (prompt for comment, close or delete the item, etc.)
