TimeOut is a Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) application, designed to work on a variety of platforms. It is intended to be as intuitive as possible for the platform on which it is run. The User Interface is elegant and minimalistic. There are no controls dedicated solely to user input: each control provides information to the user.

TimeOut can be controlled with a pointing device, such as a stylus, touch screen, or mouse, a radial control such as a jog dial, or standard cell phone dial pad.
