TimeOut Installation

This document presumes that you have already installed the IBM J9 Java Virtual Machine on your PocketPC. If not, please see this document for instructions on how to do so.

1. Transfer the TimeOut.jar to the PPC device.   You can do this in several though we'll outline the basic method here:

2. Open up my computer

3. Navigate to Mobile Device (your devices may vary)

 

 

4. Drag and drop the TimeOut-xxxx.Jar file (your files may vary)

 

5. The file should now be on your handheld device

6. Double click on the timeout-xxx file

7. This should launch the J9 JVM, and start installing.   A progress bar will show the progress, and a prompt to trust the application will appear.   Click YES.

8. You may or may not get another prompt for the installation, if so click okay/yes and continue

9. Launch the MIDlet HQ

10 From the MIDlet HQ you should see a file by the name of TimeOut-xxx.

11. Click on this file name, and then click the launch button

12. Viola! Everything should be up and running!   If you get a registration screen, don't worry.   Just follow the instructions on screen.
