Brain Murmurs is passionate about network programming. Network programming is inherently at the core of everything that we do. Although we have written standalone desktop applications before, nothing seems quite so interesting as getting two or more devices talking to each other and working together. This fascination has led us into distributed computing, parallel supercomputing, client-server architectures, and networking products for handheld devices.
In our work we have leveraged off the shelf technologies such as MPI and Microsoft's RTC client. We have also studied, absorbed, and implemented network protocols such as the SIP protocol. And in many cases, we have implemented our own protocols based on TCP or UDP networks.

In addition, we have developed considerable experience in managing the products we create in the course of this work, including deployment, control, and distributed debugging.

Our staff developed a full blown, embedded implementation of the Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) in J2ME as part of the groundwork leading up to our Pulse dialup networking service.
