A supercomputer is a computer that leads the world in terms of processing capacity, particularly speed of calculation, at the time of its introduction. The term "Super Computing" was first used by New York World newspaper in 1920 to refer to large custom-built tabulators IBM made for Columbia University.

Our company's background is in astronautical engineering, a field rife with supercomputing applications including computational fluid dynamics and finite elements. In addition to this experience and cultural awareness, we have professional our experiences in information retrieval, bioinformatics, and grid computing.

Our background in astronautics, coupled with the work and research that our company has done, makes us well suited to work in the field of supercomputing.
