We have been writing code for the Linux platform for several years, including applications, screen savers, and dynamic link libraries. Most applications have been written in C, Python, Java, or Bash shell scripts. We are also experienced writing web based applications leveraging Linux, the Apache webserver, MySQL database, and PHP text processing (aka "LAMP" applications) We are also experienced Linux administrators and are comfortable setting up and working with Linux-based email and web servers, data bases, and command line tools

We have written native TCP and UDP network code and POSIX threads. We have written an Xscreensaver plugin for JIVA using X11, gdk, and JNI. We have also made extensive of the m4 macro preprocessor. We have also developed packages using the Redhat Package Manager (RPM) and self extracting binary installers.
